novice guide to nav tweak
I would like to upgrade my current mk 4 sat nav, it is currently on 2004. Firstly i have downloaded v29 mdf and mds i can open the mds in img burn but not the mdf, any ideas I would lthen like to edit it and record it to disk. Please can someone help me, I have just downloaded navtweak and speak and opened them in gtk. How do I open these files in navtweak to enable me to make changes. I thought you would just drag and drop the mds and mdf onto the navtweak but its not that simple it seems. Once I have done this how do I put the edited software onto disk, Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also does any one know where I can download the euro 2007 high map dvd. Cheers, Jon |

Please can someone confirm this for before I install in my nav.
I gather the mds file I can burn with img burn and this contains everything that is on the mdf file. So if I burn the v29 mds as is I will have the latest software. If I want to edit the software I need to extract the mdf file using iso buster edit the details and then create a new mds file and burn to disc. Thanks, Jon |

I decided not to make any changes to v29 and just installed it.
It works a treat. Can I change the voice from a computerised female to one that sounds natural or use custom voices like in a tomtom. Cheers, Jon |
