i have just install my 2001 x5 navigation retrofit but not working properly yet i need some assistance in wiring the on-board computer on my instruction to connect the wire to the instrument cluster the wire colour is different and i only have one wire goes to the cluster
on the wire harness i only have A5 i do not have A6 and the connection on the cluster there is a black connector and there is a white connector pin 1 on the black connector is brown/black wire and the white connector pin 1 is yellow red and the instruction direct to connect A 5 brown/red to pin 1 brown/red DFHL and A6 (which i Don't have) to pin 3 pin 1 on the black connector is brown/black and pin 1 on the white connector pin 1 is yellow/white
On the monitor do not display the time/date and does not read the on-board computer and does not respond to any seting
any one have any idea
