Navcoder v2.2.0 now available
NavCoder v2.2.1 has been released.
Biggest new feature is the ability to properly recode BMW mono nav units to colour. Get it here: http://www.bimmerboard.com/members/k...l/NavCoder.zip It is now shareware, but very cheap. I won't get rich from this effort, but I might be able to buy my dear wife a bottle of wine every now and then to keep her happy... Changes: v2.2.1 2 September 2007 Fixed bug where some debug code still remained in the Telephone Read VR code Fixed bug where the Code VR button wasn't being properly disabled during coding Removed Telephone Emergency Number display as this isn't working (yet) v2.2.0 29 August 2007 Added shareware registration mechanism, NavCoder is now Shareware Added Nav Output Mode (Mono or Colour) coding Added ability to read the nav's adaptive values for fun Added Clock Sync which syncs car to GPS time Added Telephone (Bluetooth) coding Added ability to read a log file (File Open...) Added filter to stop display of Device status request/ready messages Added lots & lots more plain text translation of ibus messages Added version number to log file header to help track log files Added Graphics Controller (GT) to list of devices in Audio Scan Fixed Bug where manufacturer name for Visteon bluetooth wasn't showing Fixed bug where Alpine C23 JAPAN and C23 OCEANIA radio part numbers had the wrong first digit Improved some text display (changed 'settings' to 'coding') Improved Scan function to now show index numbers for all devices Removed 'Clear COM Buffer' option as not needed Enjoy! Read SES, enables the tick box, does this mean VR is enabled? - Note it also does this without any IBUS interface connected. Odia. |

2. Send me the log file 3. Note that NavCoder remembers settings so will remember if you ticked the VR box. If Read SES works without error, then the VR shows the current status |

BMW Mk3 mono to colour Land Rover Mk3 from Land Rover to BMW Colour (needs testing, I need a willing volunteer) BMW Mk4 from mono to colour You need a copy of the standard BMW OS software (current version v29.1) Last edited by KiwiJochen; 09-17-2007 at 02:04 AM. |

2. Attached 3. Please check this option as I have tried on a PC with no IBUS interface and have never been connected to one and the Read SES still ticks the SES box. Odia. |
