MKIV main menu: "Code"?
I have a 2005 MINI Cooper S, which has the exact same MKIV navigation system that many of you have. In many screenshots I've seen of the MKIV in BMWs, I see some extra options that aren't available on my Nav. I understand what most of them are for (Television, DSP, Aux. Ventilation, etc.), but the one that has escaped my mind is the one labeled "Code". What in the heck is that one for? Thanks in advance! |

You can program in a code that disables the ignition system unless the proper code is entered.

Thanks UCrewX5 - I just realized I should have searched on it first... sorry! Existing thread:
NAV menu --> CODE option If you like, go ahead and delete this thread, or merge it into the one above.

It was a good question. Just imagine if you use that code and forget what it is.
Maybe not so funny huh.
