Can not get splash screen change??

Dear all,

This is what I have done to try change my splash screen but my sat nav just says "None sprecific CD in Nav" or words to that effect.

I coppied all the CD (V27) to a folder on PC.
Used navtweek to edit navboot file to put in new GIF image.
Then tried nero to burn new CD, didnt work.
Tried Nero to create ISO imige and use Alchol120% to burn image, still didnt work.
Tried power ISO to creat image, still didnt work.

What can I do?????

What version is allready on your Nav computer? I think im correct in saying you have to upload a different version to that which is allready installed on it. If you have version V27 then you cannot upload V27 to it you need a different version higher or lower.

Hi,

I hav version 27, I tried to change the version type with a hex changer but not sure what I am doing.
All I ever get is "Incorrect CD in navigation computer"

Why dont you download and try a different version?

Hi @ll

I have a little prob with the Update software...

I have download all the different version (V27/V28/V29)
I use Alcohol120%, WinIso and Navtweak.

My Steps:
-extract the navboot file
-edit it with NavTweak (Change the Sky 3D Mode and the Splash Screen)
-drag&drop the edited navboot file into WinIso .mdf file
- "save as..."

And now I want to burn it with Alcohol... "PROB"

When i want to start burn the .mds file come this Massege:

Imagesize don't the same like Lead Out TOC
Lead Out Adress in TOC 28:33:66
Filesize 29:48:63

Can somebody help me please?!

Excause me for my english :-)

I burn the V27 and it's all OK, because it's original.
