Pioneer Avic-D3 or not?
BTW I drive a 2001 x5 3.0 with factory stereo options (including the outdated nav unit). I'm adding an Alpine PLV-7 in the trunk in the near future, so I just wanna know what everyone thinks about it. If you do know anythign bout it, please comment on the built in amp (4x50 watts). |

Hello,
I am curious about this one as well. I have searched all over this site, and the couple of topics I have found asking about this head unit (which from the specs seems very impressive) or other non OEM nav head units, there is a never a response. Has anyone retrofitted a system such as this in their X5? Any double DIN In Dash nav screen installs? If not, is there a reason no one wants to touch this? Just curious... perhaps there is something we are missing. Thanks! -Sterling |

Hey Best Man... I am still searching for the same info, and came across this post. Hope this helps. Also, from what I am seeing, looks like the bezel is needed (Rich's Bezel)
