Help! upgraded to v29.1 lost english voice

hope someone can help i have a BMW 318i se 51 plate (2001) with MK3 SATNAV CD VERSION WITH NAVTEC 2006 GB/IRLAND DISK.

i have upgraded to v29.1 but the following has occured
when i set the language for GB, the witing turns to english but the verbal instructions are in dutch which is strange as there are only two languages i can select from D and GB (german and english).

what is going on????

The OS disc you used to upgrade the software has been modified by someone, and the English voice files have been replaced by Dutch voice files

Obtain a standard, unmodified OS disc and reload the software.

Note that if you insert another OS disc of the same installed version, the nav unit won't load it as the software version is unchanged.

You'll have to go back a version to be able to reload the current version.

couple of things

the os disc i have used, has been used by many of my friends and their satnavs are working perfect - english voice and that-

where can i get an unmodified version of v28 to downgrade and v29.1 to reupgrade.

someone said its to do with the map disc and someone else has told me of a hidden menu where it can be changed.
