What would be nice would be a lookup facility on Navteq's website to see what (if any) updates/revisions/fixes were applied to that version.

As an example, my house has been built now for 7 years. I reported an issue with the 2003 DVD where my house number (or that of several of my neighbours) didn't register - as of 2007-2 they still haven't fixed it (or 3 other issues I reported).

It bothers me that they release 2 updates per year at £200+ and we have absolutely no idea whether it would be of benefit - no wonder people clone the DVD's. I only bought one from the stealer last time as it was a £99 upgrade....

Phoned my dealer this week and they said they're not expecting it till early 2008? Now I was posing as a new customer, not myself (I'm supposed to be getting a free upgrade).

Is this right? Seems odd the BMW will get it a few months AFTER its released?

Does this new map version support 7 digit post code entry? Anyone know for certain ?

Very disappointing really as it does seem a hell of a "faff" to get the 7 digit entry to work!

My 2008/1 disc does not support this?

This must be a modified disc! Why would it be UK postcodes for a euro disc!
