IBus and navcoder

i bought reslers IBUS interface, and nov i am wondering, where should i tap IBUS? I have 2003 E39 with MK4 16:9 navigation and no CD changer. I was looking for CD changer cable, but could not find it. What color should the IBUS wire be?

Am assuming you have Navigation as you want to use NavCoder?

Best place to tap into would be the back of the Nav Computer or the TV Module - the Nav Computer is fairly easy as even if it is surrounded in trim (like in the E46) you can 'extract' the whole thing to get at the cables using those radio extraction 'keys'.

The wire colour is the only THREE colour wide which is WHITE with RED and YELLOW bands (as far as I can remember).

I use a stiff single-strand cable (like phone cable) and just poke it into the receptacle in the back of the plug which houses the i-bus pin. You may have to extract the plug (black) part out of the locking shell but that is simple - it slides out sideways after pressing the lugs in.
