I have done this little test with MagicISO and it still not working:

In MagicISO ”Open CD driver” and read the CD.

Set “Files”->”Properties”->”Optimes” to “Keep the original file names”

Then Save (Save as ISO file)

Open the saved file again.

Set “Files”->”Properties”->”Optimes” to “Keep the original file names”

Navigate to \MK3\0116\BMWC01S

DnD lmg_rel.tbl & sw_rel.tbl to desktop

Change version number from 0630 to 0000 with Hex Editor Neo to force the software update.
(only thing tkat I change for this test)


DnD the two files back.

Save file.

If I then open the file with ImgBurn to check the Mode it say mode1!!!

Then burn with “Burn current compilation” button in MagicISO anyhow with mode2.

I open the door, switch ignition on, wait for navi to boot, insert the disk.
It says wait a moment, loading software, go blank and nothing more happens….LED on nav comp. is off.

Those of you that say MagicISO will work, do you have MK3 in the car? Mode1 will work with MK4 but not MK3.
