v.29 Operating System question?
I have a question. I am trying to upgrade my operating system from 4-1/60 to 4-1/91. I downloaded v.29 from this site http://www.megaupload.com/?d=TNC9LTY2 to my desk top. Then unzipped its contents to a cd-r as instructed by a few threads I read. When I insert it into my MK4 dvd drive for my navigation it gives me this message. Invalid cd/dvd for this computer. Do i need to download the software to a dvd since I have a dvd drive where i put my navigation cd into? Can anyone assist. Is there something I am doing wrong? Many thanks. |

DVD unit (MK4) is suitable for CDs also.
Something must be wrong with you v29.1 version or the burned copy Try again with a v30 maybe (same as v29). Easily found on Torrent or Emule |

Try this: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=AO01OWQP
Burn it at a CD on Mode2 at the slowest burn speed. The label of the cd must be; NAV_SW You can also try to burn it on a DVD when it doesn't work at a CD. |

Did you put the contents directly onto a CD-R, or did you use a disk burning program such as Alcohol 120 to create the disk? The files you downloaded are ISO image and control files that tell a burning program how to create an exact duplicate of the original. You don't just simply copy the files you downloaded directly onto a CD-R

Thanks , I actually did download its contents directly into the cd-r. I am going to transfer v.29 using imgburn. Hopefully that will work.
