Enable 2D maps on pre-LCI E60
I have a 5 Series saloon (e60) manufactured on 02/2007 , a pre-LCI. The car has factory fitted Business Nav which at the time had only ARROW VIEW. I saw that the LCI 5 series manufactured after march 2007 has 2D map display as standard for Business NAV. My question is: Can i upgrade somehow my nav system in order to enable the 2D map display? I have to mention that i checked with my dealer and he has no idea if this is posible or not. I was the first one to ask them. Any help is highly appreciated. Thank You!

I understood from other forums that the CCC is the same for pre-LCI and LCI models. Can anybody confirm this?

I asked this question to BMW Customer Support in UK.
Here is the answer they provide: Dear Mr ____________ Thank you for your swift response. Please be advised that the latest navigation disc available is BMW Navigation Business 2008-1. For your convenience we have attached an extract from the operating instructions. Perspective view should be selected instead of Arrow view as detailed below. We hope this is of use, and if we can be of any further assistance please feel free to contact us using the details below. Does anybody have the Business 2008-1 Europe nav DVD? My dealer claims that the latest one is 2007-2 for the Business Version which i have and it does not enable any 2D maps view.

Do the arrow vs. 2d, use same map disk?
can anyone post what files they have on their arrow and 2d system nav DVD
