niko740i is on a distinguished road
No nav volume

Hello all, first time poster
I have a 2001 740i, i have installed MKIV & BM53, i purchased the old to new radio adapter and the antenna adapter, cant recal part numbers.
The issue im having is that there is no nav volume, all settings are adjustable but still no change.
1) The BM53 has no coax connector, i assume the coax is for the diversity antenna, i have not looked at the diagram yet but that coax isnt connected.
2) On the main radio connector there are 2 slots for the 12 pin connectors as you know, the cars harness 12 pin connector is metal and will not fit, i tried to slide it in, on the display i have CDC, can select cds but no volume. I am not concerned about the changer since the reason i did BM53 is for factory ipod. The coax from the changer to the dsp is still connected. Could the disconected 12 pin be the issue since the nav volume is handled through the dsp ?
Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance
