I want to upgrade my nav to this new version, but am worried about skipping revs. I am at 1-4/20 right now. Can I skip straight to 30 or 31?

I'm a little confused about using the download for V31. I downloaded from the above site and saved it on my desktop as NavigationV31.rar I then downloaded imgburn and used the "Write files/folders to disc" option to transfer NavigationV31.rar to a CD-R disc. I have ended up with NavigationV31.rar on the disc but, on reading other posts, I'm not sure if this is the correct format that the DVD reader in the X5 (2005 model) will read and successfully update my nav' computer. I'm a little reluctant just to stick it in and hope for the best. Regards and Thanks Colin. |

Why use this version, no improvements however. Newer does not always mean better. Just the kick that the version number is higher ???
