Is My Nav drive dead? HELP!!!
Then lately I started getting the error message "No Nav In Drive" I opened the drive, cleaned the lens with a cotton swap. The Nav drive now reads the map disc and after 30 seconds or so spits it out. Any guess what is going on? Any or all help is appreciated before I buy another drive (which I would not like to if possible) Drive is MK3 from a 01 x5 Mickey

Did you try another disc?
If you don't have a spare head to the dealer and borrow one. It could be a bad disc.

tried 5 different disks (including the original one)...even tried some of the firmware upgrades to see if they are read...no luck.
