Update CD stcuk in DVD

Hi Guys

I just updated my X5 to V31 and no problems went to go do the E46 and the CD is just stuck in there and no action. I switch the ign of and found now there is no VAN on the menu.

Any help to get the CD out for a start and get the NAV back on the menu?

Cheers

Nick

OK I got it, This is what happen its a 2004 E46 which is spose to be MKIV which I thought but looking at the pictures on the FAQ its a MKIII. Anyway went to update to V31 and the CD got stuck and lost NAV on the menu. PANIC! BTW I just upgraded my 06 X5 minutes before which I knew worked and should do his car.

I tried the get stuck CD out and worked. Then went back to V21.1 and its loaded. Thank fk.

I left it there as its working and dont want to change any version up or should I? Its working if my uncle complains things are missing Ill change but leave it for now.

Cheers

Nick

Your CD which failled will be a Mode1 format CD. This causes the Mk3 to crash. Make sure you burn as a Mode2/Form1 format and then the Mk3 will load the SW OK. Check the disc is error free before you use it (surface scan, quality check)

Last valid SW version for the Mk3 is 3-1/63, which is on every OS disc from v22 onwards.

If you used OS disc v21.1 then the nav will have 3-1/62 loaded.
