Sat Nav

Hi Anyone,
I'm new to this and love some of the content and need some help.
I am trying to find the best way to upload the safety/speed cameras to my sat. nav, can anyone suggest the best way.
Also is this what V31 is that I am seeing a lot of and what do I do with it.

Thanks guys.

Easiest way = ask someone else knowledgable to do it for you

V31 is the current operating software disc, released March 2008.
It contains software for the Mk1, Mk2, Mk3, Mk4, NAVI01, NAVI02, NAVI03 navigation computers, as used in the E38, E39, E46, E52, E53, Z3, Z8, Mini, and probably more vehicles that I currently forget....

The actual SW version numbers vary according to the model of nav.

Eg: for the Mk3, the V31 disc contains SW version 3-1/63 (last SW ver for Mk3 ever made. Read that as v6.3)
For the Mk4, it has 4-1/(1)00 (released Mar 2008). Read it as v10.0

The Mk4 is at the end of its life, the current software release contains bugfixes.

If you have a Mk4, install the software from the V31 disc.

If you want to customise the SW, start with the current version 4-1/(1)00 as on the V31 disc, and go from there.

As for easy loading of extra POI info, have a look at the PimpMyNav application.
