Hello, wondered if you can help..

Hi guys, I am new to your forum. I have just bought an E46 M3 here in the UK. But found your nav section the most informative of all the BMW forums!

My query is, the car I bought came with the 16:9 screen and TV module, But nav was never specced on the car from new. Can I simply add a MKIV nav computer to get it? In the boot the only plug I can see is a blue one going into the TV module. There is an empty white slot also on the TV module. Am I right in thinking, if I remove the blue plug from the tv mdule and plug it into the MKIV it will work fine, and I just will not be able to use the TV? I cant seem to find too much info on this as most people have nav and tV!!!
