Notta bad idea, Barry - hadn't thought of gettinn' them involved... maybe I'll go visit 'em first 'n ask, before I go pryin' things apart !

Hey if anything sneezes in my ride i just go to the dealer, look confused (which is not hard in my case) scratch the back of my head and ask them to fix it. Never got an argument so far........

~ The closest Stealer to me hasa bunch of stuck-up snobs for SA's... maybe 'cause most of the customers are stuckup Hollywood types too !! ~ 'Still worth a try tho...

"Get the nerve up," are you kidding? I was in that panel the first week I brought my ZHP home, my radar detector is hooked into what I believe is the pre-wired mic. Its that or the pre-wired homelink.

If its anything like the e46 (seems like a lot of them are) I would suggest popping down the lights first with a screw driver. I popped mine down one too many times w/o pulling the lights down first and broke off a couple of tabs. No biggie, superglued and they were ready to go...

Don't be scared! It shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes, 10 max...

agree
an easy mod, did mine when I upgraded the mic, though I had to finesse the original mic hole to get the sunroof button in (E39 M5)
