Want to install just 16:9 screen, NO navi...

I have to say sorry for my english before I start typing anything!!! Hey guys! This is my first post on this forum cause I just got 03 X5 3.0. It doesnt have nnavigation nor CD changer now but i would like to instol ONLY 16:9 screen WITHOUT navigation. The only things I need it to do is to playa CD's, radio, BC and if its possible use it as TV. Could you please give me list of exect parts Need to do this and possibly how to. I found a lot of info on how to install navi but almost nothing on how to install just the screen.

You need:
screen (4:3 or 16:9)
radio module (business or professional, old gen or new gen)
video module (also known as the tv tuner)
cd changer (option)
amplifier (option, standard or dsp)
telephone (option)
tv antenna amplifiers (for TV)
retrofit wiring loom (better: complete retrofit kit)

It is only a very small extra to add navigation...

Interesting response! What if I went with something like this?

screen (16:9)
radio module

what part number would i need for wiring, wouldn't this give me cd, radio, dvd, and TV???????

Thanks so much!

Nope, that won't do it

There are only two modules that have the "brains" to operate the nav screen. One is a nav module (Mk2, Mk3 or Mk4) and the other is an OEM video module. You need to have one or the other (or both) to drive the system.

Thank you for your help! I have one more question: Is there a place to buy "complete retrofit kit", or should i just get the oem wiering harness and splice into it?

Thank you!
