320d nav problem
Hey guys,
All of the sudden lost GPS signal. It shows that I am about 10-15 miles away from my house, even though I am parked right next to it. The little window at the top right has no green dots (sattelites). I also tried to disconnect it from the power and reconnect it back in 15 minutes, but the issue is still there. I went into the service menu and here it is: almanac: No Visible: 8 wheel sensor: 0 satelites: 00 GPS status: Receiver Error Gyro: 2500-2503 (Either or) Any ideas? Thanks! ASH |

Your GPS has a receiver error
Likely the GPS antenna has died. Try another antenna. |

Is this correct??? if you look at the screen, there is no green dots etc, so it looks as if it isn't even searching for a gps signal..
And, does anyone know how to remove the sharkfin aerial for my e46? Thanks in advance |

Sharkfin aerial is for telephone only. Removing will damage paint and leave a hole in the roof. I would not remove the sharkfin !! GPS antenna is under the rear parcel tray, below the rear window. |

These covers have Torx screw behind the light fixture. Remove the light fixture (clips) and unscrew this screw before pulling out the trim (2 clips are attached to the pillar, #8 in the drawing). I got the drawings off from a fellow fanatics.

Thanks Guy's...
I have pulled the back pannel off tonight (in the boot, where the carpet covers all round the nav unit), and I saw where the nav aerial plugs into the loom, but what confused me is that there is a plug that runs along side the aerial cable (it's a small flat plug with 3 wires) I was wondering if that has come unplugged from somewhere?? I had a quick look but couldn't find anything.. does anyone know what this is??? |
