Update: finally I've decided that the only solution is to downgrade. So, I did it. Everything went without ANY problems so anyone encountering this issue could safely downgrade to v.27.1. Thanks all for the help!

My Ver 31 disk says it upgrades both color and radio navs to Version 10.0.
