BMW 05/2003 Navi Dutch Language

Hi guys and girls, im new on this forum, first off all i wanna thank the creators of this website and the people that are on it, this is really one of the most informative website on the web.

My question;

I want the navigation text and sound in dutch ( nederlands ) how can i do it? i know how to burn and all that, but about programming and editing files better shoot me then to let me do that.

if someone could just give me a link or something where the rar file is so i can burn the iso or nrg file, so i can just install in on my car. it would be very helpfull if it would be this way. but i don't think i got that much luck :-) anyway can someone please help me with this, the navi is in Deutch English and French now.

thanks in advance.

If you have a Mk4 nav unit, then NL is a standard (spoken) language. Just ask the dealer to load NL as one of the 3 languages. Or use my NavCoder and load the language yourself.

Note that NL is not fully supported through the vehicle. Most devices only have 6 languages (GB, US, DE, ES, IT and FR).
In fact, the nav loads NL voice files only. No NL text.

To change text, you need to edit the text yourself and create a modified OS disc. Look for the NavTweak thread on this board.

This is the standard loaded languages, you want to change what languages you have so...

As Jochen says, either go to the dealer OR download and buy the excellent navcoder to change the language yourself.

navcoder

i tried to use the navcoder and i get run time error 339 component 'mscomm32.ocx or one of its dependencies not correctly registristered: a file is missing or invalid, i unrar the package and put them in the same map. so all the files are there inc mscomm32.ocx, maybe because i'm using vista?
