ah ok...your mk4 doesn't works not even now...
Maybe you meant the Resler interface for iBus...

Yep, till now it is not alive.....

No Resler interface is useless - there is no IBus activity from navi! Even INPA does not see it! Only direct reflash (directly into chip) could help!

You have only 2 options

1. Send to VDO for repair (in Germany)

2. Replace with new (or used) Mk4 unit

wow...this is the best new of this day...
But is it possible that just for a wrong upgrading I have to trash an mk4?

Unhappy Black screen on my mk4

Hi

I bougt an used MK4 on e-bay and when I conected it to the car the screen were black. But I could read it with my ibus conector. I cant find anything wrong.

What boot mode is it coded for?

Read the boot mode with NavCoder

BMWC01S = colour screen
BMWM01S = mono screen, won't show picture on colour LCD screen

NavCoder can change from mono to colour.
