So let me get this straight you expect someone
else to pay the $200 for the disc then burn you a copy?

Well If you can get someone to make you a copy more
power to you But to expect to find a place where
you can download it free is piracy plain and simple
and not supported by this site.

But it does smack of being really cheap when you
can afford to buy a luxiary vehicle but can't put up
the coins for a new disc.....

I dont expect anyone to pay for it, it's a rip off. People on other sites are doing it, I just havent found anyone with the one I'm looking for. Don't worry about it.

Not sure why you believe it's a rip off.
Companies are in business to make money
who could argue with that. If you feel it's
not worth it then don't buy it but good Lord
to exclaim that people on other sites are doing it
Smacks of the 9 year old crying "everybody else is
doing it why can't i?

IMO a bit immature for X5World which is a
quality site.

Ok guys' - let's not get carried away...
What people do amongst themselves is also not of anyone elses business.

The bottom line:
If your not into pirate software you should support the makers and by it from the vendor, plain and simple.
If you can get it from somewhere - lucky you!

If anyone has a link to the 2008 version the the US Nav for a 2005 x5, please let me know, or if anyone wants to burn me a copy I'd pay for shipping or whatever.

I like that bmwportal euro version that has all the radar points and stuff, does anyone do that for US versions? pretty cool.

Does anyone have this disc that they can copy for me or know where I can get it without paying $200 for it?

http://www.torrentvalley.com/downloa...t_1113126.html

Instructions:
Burn ISO image to DVD+R at low speed (eg: 1x NOT 4x or 16x)
Use Verbatim disks (they have the most compatible dye with BMW DVD drives)
You can use NERO, Toast 8 or 9, even disk utility in Leopard. Whatever software you use, the most important thing is to burn it at low speed 1x is best.
