How to correctly build a Mode2 RoadMap CD?

Hi all,
I find I am unable to build a Mode2/Form1 RoadMap CD that my Mk-IV can read. I guess I am missing something and would appreciate any help.
Here are the details:
- I have got some TeleAtlas and NavTech RoadMap CDs image files.
- I observe most images yield a Mode2/Form1 CD when burned
- I burn any of these Mode2 images and my Mk-IV reads them correctly.
- I then take one of the Mode1 image files, and rebuild it as Mode2/Form1
- My Mk-IV displays a “wrong disk” or an eternal “please wait” error message
- I am using Nero Mode2 option and Mode2CDMaker, with same results.
Any ideas?
Regards and TIA

For the maps Mode is not principal! Maps could be used in Mode 1 even on MK3

Mode2 is principal for software disks for MK3.... on MK4 Mode is not important either for soft disk or for Map disks

Thanks Scuba for the information. To be honest, I had no clue about Mode1 RoadMap CDs being readable by Mk-3s.
Still, original RoadMap CDs are obviously issued as Mode2. I am rather of a curious nature, and would like to know why I cant duplicate that.
Cheers.
