Do you know if the new cars have the latest nav system ?
Many do not come loaded with the lastest OS, V26. I would suggest having the dealer do the upgrade for you prior to taking delivery. You may want to take a copy of this document to the dealer to show them that this is the version currently supported by BMW - http://www.xoutpost.com/pdf/v26.pdf

It won't hurt to drop it back down to V24 or V25 just to test if the problem goes away, but I agree with the previous poster, what you are seeing is the secondary video output from the TV Tuner which means you nav comp is doing something odd, I doubt if V26 is causing the problem, but you never know!

I get odd things happen with mine ocasionally especially if it has been very cold at night condensation probably, I have stopped using the DVD btw as I find the more inclusive postcodes on the CD version much more usefull.

Am I missing something...the original directions indicate this is an ISO contained in the rar file right? I extracted the file, but it's not an image, there's 2 files, an mds and an mdf file...

One of those is actually an iso file. The extensions are utilized by Alcohol 120, the program I reference in the instructions.

Can you PM me the link so I can host it in a few places? I can get it on bittorrent and eMule or whatever.
