Mini MK3 problem?

Tried to update software but made wrong "mode" CD, so now it wonīt even read the correct "mode" CD, black screen. What to do with it? What if i put it in my e39 and use NavCoder to force the update to it, will it work in the Mini after that?

Here is a mode2 version of v31, this will work in both the M3 and MK4, download and burn, then redo the update, hopefully it will fix your problem.

Rapidshare

Megaupload

Burn at either x1 speed or the slowest rated for the blank CD.

Yes, it'll be fine. You can fit it to the E39, code the nav to suit your Mini, then fit it to the Mini afterwards.

Tried to fix it but no luck, CD drive is making strange (it tries to read) noise and power led is down... I think the guy damaged the CD drive when he took the software CD out manually... NavCoder couldnīt get any information from Nav unit (probably related to the power led being down). Will it work with new CD reader?

If nav is not talking to NavCoder then it has no OS installed, or memory has become corrupted....

To load OS the CD drive must be working
