X5 Nav user's manual vs. X3 Nav user's manual
Just ordered a 2006 X3 3.0 and while on the wait I am trying to gather as much info as I can. So, I have downloaded the "BMW Nav Owners Manual -2004" from the main page, however it is clear that all pictures show the X5 Nav system. I was wandering: are the two systems identical? If yes, is there a selector knob at the X3? Are all the board computer, radio etc functions available in the X3 too? Is there a "X3 navi users manual" pdf available? thnx vvesk |

The functionality of the X5 and X3 nav systems are identical (in fact, the nav drives are interchangable between the vehicles). The only difference is the layout of the controls up front. The X5 manual should give you a very good idea how to use and interact with the X3 nav system.
