Garmin or Tomtom speed camera updates

Does anyone know if it possible to extract camera info from Garmin or TomTom updates?

I have some and wondered if i could convert them for use with the Mk.IV nav computer

Yes mate, the OV2 file (TT) is the file that you can use to convert to the BMW format, so if you have the cameras.ov2 file you're all set.

get hold of a app called POIconvertor (http://rjdavies.users.btopenworld.co...converter.html)

install poiconverter,
run poiconverter.exe,
open cameras.ov2, then save as camera.asc,
open a dos window cd to a dir that has an app called ascidx2_mk4.exe in it run "ascidx2_mk4.exe ENG CAMERAS" this will create 2 files cameras.idx and cameras.url.
These files are now in the correct bmw format, just add them to the map disc.

Pimp-My-Nav supports the direct importation of TomTom or Garmin POI data into the BMW system, otherwise use one of the free converters to convert the data into an .asc file.
