Clarification on SW Levels.
My Nav shows it's 4-1/80, Receiver SW Ver 1.8 and Receiver SW Date 15.11.1. Some posts suggest v32 (4-1/100) as it may solve issues with the new 2009.1 map disk yet others say that v28 is the latest that has any effect on the MKIV. Can anyone clarify the situation? Thanks... |

Current version is 4-1/100 (displays as 4-1/00) Quote:
If you want to read latest 2009.1 discs, then load 4-1/100 from a V32 OS disc. |

Jochen, I have been told that the US flavor of 2009.1 is not dual-layer so, assuming that's true, other than dual-layer reading capabilities, any other reason to upgrade?
It's like "if it ain't broken, don't fix it". I don't have a CD burner so don't want to go that route unless I really have to. Thanks... Richard... Quote:
