All you have to do is take out the old dvd and pop in the new one and you're done...

Is it giving you the cd/dvd inserted is incorrect error?

No, it WAS just displaying the message "insert DVD". The display wouldn't change even when the new DVD was inserted. When I replaced the old DVD it would come up fine. Someone said that I may need to leave it in for 5 minutes before I started the vehicle. I did that in addition to backing it out of the garage and now it works!

I'm going to use it for a few days before I call it fixed, but this is a good sign!!

Sounds like you should be good to go now.

If you continue to have some DVD errors, I would suggest copying it to a blank DVD. PM me if you need to do that and I'll give you some recommendations.
