Unlocking analogue tuner

hiya

running a 2005 x3 3.0I sport and have the option of a analogue tuner thats been unlocked for tv on the move from a friend

my wifes car already has the tuner but i thought it was a cable that allowed the tv option all the time

my friend claims his unit is electronically unlocked

Yes, you can unlock for TV in motion electronically. You will need a copy of Navcoder and a PC to i-bus interface from Rolf Resler.
