Newbie question...
Hi everyone. I have a 2003 BMW 530i (E39) with stock navigation. I want to install the latest firmware but don't want to blow my car up
Can someone show me a link to what I need? Hopefully there will be some instructions provided also. Thanks!

Have anyone a link to guide how to set up the disk used.?
Do you burn the image with all the files on a disk, or do you take out the files for your nav and make a new cd.? |

It's an iso so I assume you burn the image. Questions:
Is it a DVD or CD image? Anything special to burn it? Now what? Just put it in the nav unit? Car running? Off?

The file that you download is an image file, which is used by CD-burning software to make an exact duplicate of the original disk. Once you have the disk created then see the tips in this link - http://www.xoutpost.com/articles/all...ystem-faq.html
If you have a MkIV then you can burn the image on either a CD or a DVD, either will work.
