How do you play DVD or Video Movie?

Just a question pop up, what aftermarket options do have for that route?

Any of the following:

DVD player
VHS Video player
iPod Video
Microsoft Zune
Any other MP3 device that has standard normal analogue video and audio output

To connect it, fit a cable to the AV-IN of the TV tuner, and then connect the video device

I ran cables to above my glovebox, had an RA connector there, and had the iPod Video sitting in the glove box

Where do I plug in?

Or do I need to get this cable below?

You need one of these

The cable you show a picture of is an Aux AUDIO in only

The cable in the link above goes between the TV connector and the plug on the car loom. It is just a break-in cable which adds the extra inputs you need that aren't wired in the standard plug/loom.

yep... you need the TV tuner or aftermarket video adapter (such as this one: http://navtv.com/product.php?ProductID=12) to get video onto the screen... Then you feed the audio through the OEM Aux input adapter...

I have an Alpine DVD player in my glovebox (uses a remote):

I think you need one of these to interface with the TV tuner:

then one of these:
Cables To Go Audio/Video Cable for iPod - 35509 - Buy.com

then convert the audio RCA to 1/8" mini headphone jack (for OEM AUX). Probably need an extension (or longer cable if you can find it):

Has anyone done the complete install of digital tv tuner and dvd player, aftermarket?? If so, was it a complete nightmare, or a managable task for a guy with electronic skill, but doesn't want a car down for a couple weeks also?? Thanks

You're in PA? There is no digital tuner for the US...
