@ccfj1:
I´ve seen in your Updated Version, that there are a newer language folder like 507. The French-language size iss changed, too. So you´v used POIson on the MK4-Update. Which languages I´ve got to change for german? - Unchanged copy of d_f.csf (already copied from you) - An changed version from "d_f.csf" and renamed to "e_f.csf", isn´t? At last not least: i found this threat and read it up to 10times (or more), till i´ll understand... http://www.xoutpost.com/electronics/...g-off-mk4.html You´ve wrote I´ve got to change the ENG.LSC at the map with a copy of GER.LSC. But coult it bee enough, wenn I change the file "INFO.PSC" to: Quote:

You must edit the lng_rel.tbl file for the new dir to be "seen" by the nav computer when loading the new voice files. For the POI alert on/off, you need to do some conversion of languages, here in the UK the default languages are; 1= GB(F) 2= FRE(F) 3= GER(F). 1 and 2 need to be changed for the on / off to work, so, 1= GB(F), modded with alert and text from GB to "on". 2= GB(F), unmodded, with no alert, and text from F to "off". 2= GER(G), OEM, text from D to "". 1= Ger(F), 2= ???, 3= ??? would need to be 1= Ger(F), with alert and text from G to "on". 2= Ger(F) OEM, (no alert) and text from ?? to "on". 3= ??? and text from ?? to "". Quote:
The link above is for the USA, so the principle is the same but the languages different.

I must wait till weekend to get my new Navigation. It´s a MK4, course the lastone (MK3) won´t work and coult need a new Laserunit, or software ...
@ccfj1: Thanks alot for your help and so I´m understanding what happing by "Select-Language" to switch the POIson/off. When my German-Version already done, i´ll still upload it, too. But I´ll change ALL languagefiles to german. So isn´t necessary to know, how does the navi coded. It´s enough, when 1st ist GER and the other is xyz and it will works fine... |

1= GER (with alert) 2= GER (renamed ??? with no alert) 3= GER (renamed ??? with no alert) Remember to make the 2nd language identical to the 1st, so that the text works when both "on" and "off"

my old MK3:
I´ve crashed the Laserunit with manual-"eject" the wrong update version. it still can´t work and i can hear it "knocking" to move iteself to a besser position... My first update crash I´ve wake it up with the v21.1... - sh§"$% happens ![]() @ccfj: When I´ll changing the (Switch ON-) language file so my Navi must talking:"Danger - expsenive/billable street" - translated for you in english ![]() So I change the file d_f.csf - Thats so far so good. When I use the unchanged d_f.csf-file there will bee really "nothing" =#127 to say and my Radio (BM24) will so long switch off the music. When I´ll use BM54, the "navispeak" must set to loudest as possible to hear "nothing". What will happen, when i´ll delete in the file "d_f.csf" the speach#127 in this coloumn? There´s nothing to say and my radio won´t fade out music, isn´t? Last edited by rubin; 06-08-2009 at 03:17 PM. |

when you install the night mode, will it change to day mode in the day? or do you have to install day mode and night based on what one wants to do and when to drive?
