- in the factory V31 software, I used color set "2" which was the orange looking color set. I uploaded your colors yesterday and noticed after a few "settings" changes, that when I went to "day" mode it goes to color set "1", the blue color scheme. Can the "day" setting be made to the V31 color set #2?
With the OEM setup, Colour set 1 is blue with an orange cursor and trim, colour set 2 is brown with an orange cursor and trim.

In my modded Image colour set 1 (day) remains untouched (OEM) and colour set 2 (night) is dark blue/black with a blue cursor and trim.

If you want the colour set for day and night to be the same (colour set 1, blue/orange) then use the one I uploaded for ashrafkh.

- how do you swap the splash screens into the Navboot file? Ive read the threads, but they are not to my level. I can edit photos, and I can look at .gifs with navtweak, but I cant figure out how you swap a .gif in Navboot.
With the navboot open in navtweak, scroll to the splash image and then right hand click the mouse and select replace, this opens a popup and you the select the pic you want (have it ready to go, in a dir somewhere).

- It would be great if you or manormachine could publish a list of the files or names in Navtweak that correspond to the colors on the screen. You seem to have it down. Then people like me wouldnt bug you with crap like this.
This is not as easy as you imagine, the colours do have title fields but they really don't mean much, 1 colour value could do more than one thing on screen so, it's a bit hit and miss, mapping the full colour list would take a long time and I just don't have it to spend on a mapping project, I just go with my gut.

- My one suggestion for your night profile: Make the night sky in perspective mode darker. I cant stand glare at night. Make it black with star dots and a moon (whatever), but keep the horizon haze. That would be ultimate (w/ the day color set #2).
I agree it would, however it's not possible to have 2 sky's, in an ideal world the navboot would be day/night from OEM and have 2 sky's but it only has one, so having modded the crappy 2nd colour set to "night" you have to use the same sky, so a compromise is a darker sky that works in both day and night.

Thanks again!
No problem and you're welcome.
