MKIII need help with upgrade

Hi there,

I tried to upgrade my 16:9 MK3 SATNAV and basically I did everything wrong ....., I burned the V32 version with Alcohol and start upgrading and of course goes bad ...., CD stacks, and all the stories....
But I have really different nice blue screen, few new functions, apart from the SATNAV.....
I found the way how to take the CD out, thanks to this web site...., how to burn the CD in Mode 2 and make the proper upgrade......
But I have the same screen as before when I started upgraded, where is the nice blue one? And the system asked about map disc, so should I put the old one back or is the way to have a newest one? My current is 2004-1. And if I will use the old disc will the system work, or will make some kind of downgrade?
Sorry for my language....
Thanks for any advice....
