Think I killed it :( - Sat Nav

Guys

If you try to update the software for the sat nav and after seeing a screen that says 'Loading CD Rom Software' or something similar and then it goes blank.... does that means its knackered permanently?

I download a file from a chap on M3 Cutters who seemed to have a good few people do it successfully... I followed the instructions exact and now im left with a CD that won't come out, no Sat Nav and the most basic menus etc I have ever seen!!

Custom V31/v32 SatNav OS - The M3cutters - UK BMW M3 Group Forum

I have an 03 M3 with the dvd system

Is there anyway of not having to go see the dealer or is that it? Only got the car Saturday!! not a good start
