Blank Screen
Hi I have a late 2006 X5 3.0D Sport, its fitted with full coms pack including BMW Professional sound system/DSP, the screen has gone blank but all functions such as radio, cd, phone, aux in and tape work without fault. The screen energises but remains blank, the nav/dvd player is also energised and appears healthy. The car has a TV in motion lead fitted for over two years now without showing fault, however I removed just to check and the screen remains blank? The only thing recent to occur was the battery had gone flat but is now sufficiently charged, I would imagine even with a poor battery and the engine running this shouldn’t affect the screen display? Within the last three months the dealer had changed the ignition barrel not sure whether anything can be related to that? Any help would be much appreciated?
