MK4 powa :)
Today, I received my MK4 unit from eBay.de. I installed it in my Compact, it works really well. I updated it to v26, with on of the 10 CDs I burned for my strange MK3, and it worked well I'm pleased to use a new 4-1/60 unit now, the DVD 2005-2 (europe for me) works well too. Is you remember my memories pb, it's now solved. It must be a pb with my mk3 unit.POWAAAA ![]() See you, Thomas "happy" Olivaux

I gather from your post that you were trying to use a CD-RW with your MkIII. That, my friend, is likely your problem. I bet you'll be able to update it if you use a high quality CD-R instead. To be honest, I sort of surprised that the MkIV let you do the upgrade using a CD-RW Congrats on the MkIV

No no, I tried a cdrw only once, but I burned many CD-Rs, Verbatim, with Plextor and Nec drives... no hope for my old MKIII
For the MK4 update yeasterady, I used one of the CD-R, not the CD-RW.V26 is so powerfull The map is much more beautifull And TMC works well (traffic info in europe, like your sirius ?)See you, Thomas
