Need help upgrading from 4:3 to 16:9 screen

Hello everybody
I just purchased an early 2001 BMW X5 4.4i with 4.3" navigation. The original 4:3 navigation screen is scratched up so I was thinking instead of fixing it; I upgrade it to 16:9 screens.
So, I need to know which 16:9 screens and from which model of BMW should I look for? And if so, will it work with DVD navigation computer (MK3, MK4) if I decided to upgrade to DVD later? What should I watch out for?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ray

You will have to get a 16:9 screen made for X5. Others have different viewing angle and you will have problems viewing.
No problems with DVD-MK4.

Is it plug and play or I need to take it
to the dealer and reprogram it?
