MK3 issue.. V32 installed

Hey fellas.. after pouring over posts for quite some time i decided to tackle the upgrade of my software. It has i believe never been done as i was on v13 so upon advise on these pages n not being the most pc savvy guy on the planet i purchased from getbmwparts v32. They werent the clearest to me as i asked if a KeyCD was required to receive no response other than them sending me the upgrade. I installed and of course did require the KeyCD which after reading numerous posts here i did manage to burn it..( cdclone@ 1x speed). I ran that this AM and it SEEMED to work to run normal screen functions but it continues to freeze and shut off and seems to reboot.. AND .. it never recognizes the navigation cd, which is a 2002 cd.. Any ideas fellas? Do i need to burn an earlier update first? Like v17 or 23? I dont really have any other ideas and the local dealer seems lost when i had a conversation w him to just do the upgrade..
