No

The nav system is a VDO system, but adapted to talk over the BMW databus. There is no plug and play compatible nav possible

The only thing you can do is feed some external nav video to the screen - but you have no control via boardmonitor, no voice activation and no other integration into the vehicle.

HMMM! I kind of expected that answer! ARGH! It REALLY sucks to buy another used Mk4 after 2 months of use of previous Mk4 and 400 euro ... :-s

Guess I have no choice!

However I am in the middle of another deal on a damaged mk4 (dvd drive apparently) then I may be able to merge the 2 mk4 to 1 working.! .. Ill keep updated.

The DVD drive may be exchanged seperately. Costs about 120 to 140 Euros.
What ist the exact problem?

You could look at the Alpine VehicleHub Pro with the BMW compatible Alpine RGB rescaler. Downsides are high purchase costs and the need for the i-drive style remote.

A Dynavin is also a possibility.
