2010.1 Nav Disc Error. :(
but i also tried the disc in my neighbors E70 and it worked fine. Is this cause of an old firmware? whats your thoughts. thanks!

Likely. Ensure the E90 has the latest firmware - and he can only upgrade at the dealer
So read out the firmware version first and compare with other E90s.... Otherwise, ensure the DVD map is correct for the vehicle...
