NO VOICE on nav retro Z4 ????
I installed a nav system on my 2007 Z4 M Coupe. I have installed the OEM v32 firmware.

I don't get any voice nav guidance when in nav mode. I have the GB Female voice selected.

Any ideas of what to check?

Check the audio output from nav drive to the radio (in the dash), that it is cabled correctly and connected to the right pins

OK, if you used the retrofit loom, the voice goes direct to pins 5 & 11 of X13598 on the radio.

These wires were branches A7 and A8 on the retrofit loom, and you had to connect them into the connector on the radio.

Wire colours:
Yellow/red = Voice positive
Yellow/brown = voice negative

Hi,
Yes I used the OEM wire bundle loom and I'll recheck that I placed those two wires into the correct location in the radio connector.
I'll let you know how that check goes.
