E46 MKIV Problem..

First I would like to say this is my first post on here and have been a member of just about every other BMW forum out there for a long time. I've done some extensive research on this forum and you guys are simply awsome. Anyways, To my problem. I have an 05 330xi, the navigation is all wrong on it. It has me in the right position while driving straight and corrects itself every here and there.... But when I turn left, the screen shows me turning right...and when turned right, It shows me turning left. So I'm wondering if the steering angle sensor is wrong or off. or maybe Its something I'm not even thinking of. I know that this is causing my nav to get very confused and puts me off track even when doing minor turns...Its pretty annoying. Any help would be great. Thank you.

Alright, another update....After further research and added hours of research...I kind felt the gyro might be broken hence the opposite turning...I did a search on Gyro and found that someone had the same problem and the dvd unit was upside down...Mine was too, I duno why and I just got the car. So I fliped it and now its mint. Just to give a heads up...I did hours of reading to fix this and my wording wasnt the same as others...search is your friend after hours of reading

I had wondered if that could be the issue.. (not wanting to look like an idiot for not understanding the way the GPS works I kept my mouth shut...)

(I mean how the hell does a unit get turned upside down in the first place.)

Do you mean the circuit board was upside down? Or the whole unit?
