Arrow What can MKIII guys do to their nav?

Hey everyone. I recently updated my MKIII to version 22 as found here
http://www.e38.org/nav/v22_1_CloneCD.rar

Its a sweet update. I was just wondering if there was anything more advanced for that? I know that the current V32 doesnt work on MKIII's. I dont have 3d perspective view or the ///M symbol on my nav. I'd really like to have both if possible. Anyone can provide a download link that has a version that I can use? If I cant get the perspective view thats ok. I'd really like the ///M symbol on my MKIII.

Has any of the MKIII guys had a problem loading this software into their car? Its the update that the OP posted for the MKIII on page 1.

Ive been trying for nearly a month now to make different discs using the nightmode update for the MKIII. Ive used over 40 discs in 3 different brands. Ive even tried making the disc on different computers. I burn the disc at speed 1. On some of the discs I made the drive didnt even accept the disc. It would cycle in and out a few times before it would actually sit in the drive. Then my nav screen would just go blank and my system would brick. Each time I had to re-install the version 22 and then try again.

I made an update disc before using this link which brough me from version 17 to version 22 but no 3D perspective mode, no ///M symbol on the screen, or no night mode. It worked on the first try.

Any advice or help is appreciated as Ive been spending a lot of time trying to do this.

Perspective is not available to an MKIII only MKIV! I've tried to change the splash screen for years on MKIII's and was never able to get it to work. Your V22 is the last upgrade on MKIII, but if you want to try again on the splash screen, downgrade your MKIII to V17 or something then use the upgrade disk you made again. I've read that the image file has to be very small and the version number within the contents of the disk has to be different than is on your MKIII currently for the upgrade to actually occur.

I have v22 now and Ive been trying to get the ///M symbol on my screen for a month! So youre saying that I have to downgradt to V17 then use the update disc again. Where can I find an older version? Maybe this is why I couldnt get any of my update discs to work on my car.

Yes, it's just a matter that you want to downgrade from what your system thinks its on now to an older version, then you can upgrade again.
