Question V32 Nav system cannot read purchased High DVDs

I just recently upgraded my MK IV system to V32 and I finally purchased a new Nav DVD, the 2010 High 2 DVD package, but when I insert the DVD I get the following message...

Error in reading map CD/DVD
Please check the CD/DVD

I get this message with either disk1 or disk2. I tried re-installing the V32 firmware, and the DVD drive can see the CD that I burned for that. It starts the upgrade and then quickly tells me that my system is up to date. I have confirmed that the computer shows 4-1/00 on the console. Unfortunately I no longer have a map CD to try with my system.

Any clues?

I don't think the HIGH version works with the MK IV.

I'm pretty certain that the High disks are for MK I through MK IV. The Pro disks are for the newer iDrive based systems.

HIGH discs are for the mk4 specifically, if it does not read them then the laser is faulty mate.

You will need to replace the laser.
