Map File Explanations

Hi All,

I have looked around for what the different types of Map Colored Discs and types are for what systems. I did find some things on the suject, but got confused and I am after some simple explanation of them.

Can we have a sticky with the relevant information.. please. I am sure there are noobs to this like me that need a bit of guidance.

For example,
I have an E53 05 MKIII upgrading it to MKIV AUSTRALIAN system. From what i think I have read correctly and using is the RED version of Maps.

Is the RED only form MKIII units, then MKIV units use one of these, High, Professional, Business versions..

I also know there is Purple for later X5 (what is termed a later X5? the E70?)

And there is Green which I dont know what that is for..

Im a bit lost, any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Rob
